Ambassadors
Eve Ralph & Leah Davis
[Awaiting Bio]
Leah has been going to Bristol CIty games since she was 7/8 with her Dad, Grandad and Brother. As a proud Bristolian, football was a place Leah could express herself and her passion for the game. Leah joined Her Game Too in May 2021 when the campaign was formed, alongside her colleague Eve Ralph, who is a director and fellow ambassador.
Leah’s passion for the campaign stems from her desire to create change in the world and also her personal experience with sexism online. After the initial partnership with the club started with the Bristol City Supporters Club & Trust in August 2021, where they worked with the community to integrate the values of Her Game Too. The partnership was launched in January 2022 on social media and they held their first dedicated fixture weekend in February 2022, which included the men’s game on the Saturday and the women’s game on the Sunday. Each year since then, Leah and Eve have worked each year on dedicated fixtures and improving the match day experience for female fans.
As well as at Bristol City, Leah and Eve serve their local community by partnering with local, grassroots teams in Bristol like Swiss Valley Rangers. The Bristol City Her Game too team have attended coaching days and tournaments (alongside their advocate, Georgie), where they have had a lot of positive conversations about the campaign and what it means to communities as well as donating a signed shirt to the team which will help carve more opportunities for young girls in the future.
