Jade Hannan
I am a lifelong Charlton Athletic supporter, a tradition that started with my grandad who was born and raised in Charlton. My dad began taking me to matches when I was just five years old, and I've held a season ticket ever since, now bringing my own children to the games.
As the Head of the Girls Youth Section for Lordswood FC and manager/coach for the Under 9 Lionesses, one of my biggest passions is seeing girls play football. The opportunities available today far surpass those when I played, and I am dedicated to fostering this growth.
I am also a member of the EDI working group at Charlton Athletic, where our efforts recently earned silver and bronze awards for our work last season. I founded the "Better Together" initiative to address issues such as loneliness, inclusion, disabilities, mental health, bullying, and abuse within the Charlton Athletic fan base. This includes setting up and running a sensory space for those with disabilities to enjoy the matchday experience.
In recognition of my efforts, I was honoured to be named Supporter of the Year for the 23/24 season.
