WORK WITH US

Our club Ambassadors are a voluntary team of self-identifying women who represent Her Game Too across a number of different football clubs.

 

Our Ambassadors are our way of directly knowing what is happening at clubs both partnered with us and otherwise.

We need more Ambassadors on board to help us eradicate sexism in the game of football. Can you help us?

An Ambassador should:

• Regularly attend home games for their club (away games are a bonus!)

• Help to set up a partnership with their club or maintain one already in place

• Where possible, arrange a check-in every 2-3 months with the appropriate person at the club 

• Help with club-specific ideas for ongoing partnerships

• Attend any Her Game Too events or dedicated fixtures local to them if possible

• Connect with the female supporters group of the club and have regular contact 

• Report back regularly on match-day experience at their affiliated club

• Have a social media presence as a Her Game Too Club Ambassador 

• Be a point of contact for other fans experiencing sexism at their club

• Manage partnerships with local grassroots clubs

• Regularly report back to the Her Game Too team about how their club is doing and for any questions or concerns

At Her Game Too, we want to create a community dedicated to promoting equality in football. To do this, we need to represent women from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage those from a BAME, disabled and LGBTQ+ background, as we know that we are underrepresented in this regard and this needs to change. We need to ensure that the voices around our table better reflect and understand the reality of sexism in football for all women.
