JOIN OUR TEAM
Our club Ambassadors are a voluntary team who represent Her Game Too across a number of different sports clubs. They are the bridge between clubs and our campaign.

We need Ambassadors on board to help us eradicate sexism in sport. Can you help us?

An Ambassador should:
-
Regularly attend home games for their club (away games are a bonus!)
-
Help to set up a partnership with their club or maintain one already in place
-
Where possible, arrange a meeting at least every 6 months with the appropriate contact at the club
-
Help with club-specific ideas for ongoing partnerships
-
Attend any Her Game Too events or dedicated fixtures local to them where possible
-
Connect with the female supporters group of the club and have regular contact
-
Report back regularly on the match-day experience at their club
-
Have a social media presence as a Her Game Too club Ambassador
-
Be a point of contact for other fans experiencing sexism at their club
-
Support partnerships with local grassroots clubs
-
Regularly report back to the Her Game Too team about how their club is doing with the partnership

Who can apply?
Her Game Too Ambassadors are self-identifying women, as the role involves directly representing women’s voices and experiences to clubs.
However, we also value the support of male allies in our work. Men are encouraged to apply for the club Advocate role, where they can play an active part in supporting the Ambassador, strengthening partnerships, and representing Her Game Too at events and fixtures.
Club Advocate role
Alongside Ambassadors, we also welcome club Advocates.
This role works closely with the Ambassador to support the partnership and assist at events or dedicated fixtures, but does not involve liaising directly with the club. Responsibilities can vary depending on the set-up at each club, but Advocates are there to add strength, visibility and support to the campaign at a local level.

Club Advocates are also subject to social media checks and must sign a Code of Conduct at the time of joining.

At Her Game Too, we want to create a community dedicated to promoting equality in sport. To do this, we need to represent women from all backgrounds. We especially encourage individuals from ethnic minority, disabled, and LGBTQ+ backgrounds to apply, as we recognise that these groups are underrepresented in sport.
We are committed to ensuring that the voices at our table better reflect and understand the experiences of all women facing sexism in sport.

If you believe you would add value to our campaign but don’t meet all the criteria we have laid out in this advert, we would still love to hear from you.

Other roles available are: Regional Grassroots Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Content Creator, Writer and more!

Please note: All roles are unpaid, voluntary roles. Interviews will be held for shortlisted candidates and may include a representative from the club you wish to become an Ambassador for. A Code of Conduct must be signed prior to being appointed.
