ABOUT
Her Game Too wants to spread our message of hope and equality. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world.
Discrimination towards women and girls in sport is not limited to football - so Her Game Too has expanded into other sports where we can support, encourage and inspire women in the game.
In recent years, we've witnessed the rise of opportunities for women and girls in cricket, but barriers still remain. We will continue to champion female participation until girls and women are accepted and respected equally in sport.

In May 2022, we partnered with our very first cricket clubs in Gloucestershire CCC and Western Storm.

THE ICEC REPORT
The Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC) was a commission set up in 2021 to investigate racial equality, gender equality and social equality in English cricket.
Their report, published in 2023, detailed widespread racism, sexism and elitism in the game.

Findings showed that 68% of the women surveyed by the ICEC had experienced discrimination in cricket. Alongside this, 58% of women who responded did not believe that everyone engaged with cricket has the same opportunities to enjoy the game, progress and be rewarded fairly.

WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
Reporting helps to create a culture of zero tolerance for sexist behaviour, which can lead to a more inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.
As an unfunded and voluntary organisation, Her Game Too raises funds through donations and merchandise sales, which are invested into recreational W&Gs cricket.
By volunteering, you can help us in a variety of ways, from raising awareness through social media to organising events and campaigns in your community.
Part of a club, university, organisation or other cricketing entity? You can help fight against sexism and champion the women and girls game by becoming a partner.
