Nataly Mason is the newest member of the Her Game Too team, joining as Ambassador for Carlisle United Football Club.
From playing for the ladies team at Carlisle United to watching her side get promoted at Wembley a year ago, Nataly has plenty of happy memories of following The Cumbrians.
“I started playing for Carlisle United Ladies six years ago,” she said.
“I had been out of the game for around 15 years, but watching the Euros sparked my enthusiasm to play again. I love the camaraderie that playing in the ladies team creates and I am deeply passionate about women’s football.”
One of Nataly’s key goals is increasing gender equality within the game, which she believes can be achieved by “educating and raising awareness about the importance of gender equality in sports through school visits, workshops and social media campaigns.”
She is excited about working with her club to promote Her Game Too’s values and hopes it will encourage more young girls to become involved in football.
“I am confident that with the support of Carlisle United, we can make a significant impact on the lives of many young girls and foster a more inclusive and empowering environment for women in football. As Her Game Too Ambassador for Carlisle United I hope to empower future generations of female football players.”
“With the growing popularity and recognition of women's football, I believe it is crucial to inspire young girls to follow their dreams and ambitions within the sport. As a Her Game Too Ambassador, I would like to support initiatives to increase participation and support for women's football in our community.”
