Her Game Too is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Lydney Town Ladies, who have proudly chosen to display the Her Game Too logo as their front-of-shirt sponsor for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
This collaboration marks an exciting moment for the club and the wider Forest of Dean football community, showcasing a shared drive to champion safe spaces for women and girls in the game.
Lydney Town Ladies’ decision to spotlight Her Game Too so prominently reflects their commitment to fostering an environment where every woman and girl feels welcomed, supported and celebrated in football. Their passion for inclusion on and off the pitch makes them a standout partner in our growing ambitions.
Chloe Watts, Community Relations Coordinator for Her Game Too, said: "We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Lydney Town Ladies and to see Her Game Too displayed as the team’s front-of-shirt sponsor.

"For Lydney Town Ladies to become the first team in the Forest of Dean to partner with Her Game Too is a huge milestone, and one that feels especially meaningful to me, personally, as someone from the Forest of Dean.
"This partnership shows the team’s genuine commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for women and girls in football, and we’re absolutely delighted to be working together to drive positive change in the local football community."
The club’s enthusiasm to embark on this partnership truly reflects their ambitions to be at the forefront of change when it comes to women in football, and the visibility of the Her Game Too message on their shirts will help spark conversations and evoke confidence across the community.
“Lydney Town Ladies partnering with Her Game Too is something incredibly exciting and deeply special for us as a team," the team explained.
"Four years ago, Lydney Town Ladies was created by Katrina Jenkins and Kirstie Jones. What started as a handful of women meeting at a local park to get fit and have a kickabout most of whom had never even kicked a ball before quickly became something much bigger. As coaches within Lydney Town Youth, we knew there had to be a pathway for the girls we were developing to transition into women’s football.
"Within weeks, the group grew rapidly. The fitness sessions turned into proper football, and the passion from the women and young girls was undeniable. With that momentum, we asked U16s girls coach Dave Jenkins to step in as manager and approached Lydney Town AFC about setting up officially. They agreed as long as we looked after ourselves and that’s exactly what we’ve done ever since."

Driven by determination and a shared vision, Katrina and Kirstie set out to change the landscape of women’s football in the Forest of Dean, one step at a time. Partnering with initiatives such as Her Game Too perfectly aligns with their mission to create safe, supportive spaces within the sport.
“Year after year, we’ve grown stronger, Katrina and Kirstie said. "We continue pushing to give women and girls of all abilities the chance to play football, feel valued, and be part of something bigger than just a team. We are a strong, united group that stands firmly for equality in the game. Women should be treated equally no matter the tier, division, or level they play at.
"So, when Chloe reached out about partnering with Her Game Too, it was an instant yes. Making a statement by proudly wearing the Her Game Too logo on our shirts means everything to us. We are proud to stand alongside an organisation that shares our belief that football is for everyone.
With the unwavering support of our manager Dave and assistant coach Craig, who constantly push for what is right, we are honoured to be the first Forest team to partner with Her Game Too. We are excited, we are proud, and we will keep fighting for equality together."
As both organisations look ahead, this partnership promises to drive awareness, raise the profile of women’s football in the Forest of Dean, and strengthen community efforts to ensure football truly is a game for everyone.
Her Game Too is thrilled to welcome Lydney Town Ladies into the movement and looks forward to supporting them on and off the pitch.
