Olivia Worsfold, Female Development Officer at Leyton Orient Football Club, said: “We are really pleased to be teaming up with Her Game Too alongside Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust.
“It’s a great opportunity to develop our matchday experience for all of our female fans.
“We pride ourselves on being a family club and want all fans to feel included when attending any matchday or event at Leyton Orient, and partnerships like this will only strengthen that ethos.
“We are looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
The Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust, said: “Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust is delighted to be working alongside Her Game Too and Leyton Orient Football Club on this new partnership.
“For far too long now, sexism has been allowed to exist within our football grounds and the male game, and we hope that this coming together of three committed organisations will enhance the atmosphere at Brisbane Road for female fans, and for it to be an environment which is free from misogyny."
Caz May, Founder and Director of Her Game Too, said: “We are delighted to have Leyton Orient and Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust on board our ever-growing list of partnerships to help us tackle one of football’s longest standing issues.
“It is important we build as many alliances with professional clubs and trusts as possible to further achieve our mission of making football a safe space for women and girls.
“We are excited to work with Leyton Orient and LOFT to help spread the message of equality and we thank them for their incredible support.”
