An official statement from Blackpool reads: “Blackpool Football Club is proud to announce it has become a partner with Her Game Too.
“The Seasiders join the organisation in seeking to eradicate sexism within football and strive for equality within the game. Being a voice for fans and championing the game for women, Her Game Too and Blackpool FC will work together to highlight and combat issues and barriers for women within the sport.
“Seeking to actively promote girls and women to get involved in coaching, playing and supporting the sport, the Club and its Community Trust has already made great strides in this field with the granting of an FA Girls' Emerging Talent Centre Licence, enhancing girls' football provisions on the Fylde Coast until July 2025.”
Blackpool FC will designate a matchday for Her Game Too from their upcoming 2023/24 season in order to raise awareness amongst their supporters. The specific matchday is yet to be determined, but anyone who wishes to become involved in creating a Her Game Too atmosphere at matches is urged to contact the club at marketing@blackpoolfc.co.uk.

Clare Percival, the Her Game Too Ambassador for Blackpool, is excited for this new partnership:
“In being the Her Game Too Ambassador for Blackpool FC, I want to make Bloomfield Road an even more welcoming, safe and friendly environment for all women and girls when attending games.
"As the ambassador, I will raise issues that may stop women and girls attending games at Bloomfield Road and be a voice and advocate for those that feel unable to speak up. I have begun working with staff from the football club and look forward to working collaboratively on lots of projects in the future.
"I truly believe that Her Game Too, with the full support of Blackpool FC and our fans, can move forward with this fabulous campaign and bring issues to the forefront to gain maximum exposure for the causes we all believe in."
Amy Warner, Blackpool FC Marketing and Fan Engagement Manager, also commented:
"We are delighted to be working with Clare and Her Game Too to make the matchday experience accessible and inclusive for all Blackpool FC fans.
"We hope to address and eliminate any issues that may currently be a barrier for fans and encourage more female fans of all ages to join us at Bloomfield Road on matchdays."
