HER GAME TOO ANNOUNCE NEW AMBASSADOR FOR WYCOMBE WANDERERS

Her Game Too is proud to welcome Donna Davies as Wycombe Wanderers’ first Her Game Too ambassador, as we continue to work collaboratively with clubs and foundations to improve engagement with female supporters and create safer, more inclusive football environments.

Our partnership with Wycombe Wanderers, formed last month, represents a shared commitment to tackling sexism and discrimination in football. Together, we are pledging to promote inclusivity, ensure Adams Park is a safe and welcoming space for everyone, champion female role models, conduct research to drive meaningful change, and raise awareness of reporting tools for all forms of discriminatory behaviour both inside stadiums and online.

Donna’s voluntary appointment as a Her Game Too ambassador is an important first step within this partnership. She brings with her a wealth of experience from grassroots girls’ football in Chinnor, alongside her involvement on matchdays as a mascot and Guard of Honour co-ordinator. Her passion for both football and female inclusion makes her a fantastic advocate for our movement.

Speaking on her appointment, Donna said:“I am very excited to be part of such an amazing campaign that combines two of my passions; female inclusion and Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.”

Donna will work closely with the club to help improve representation and visibility of female supporters, with a particular focus on increasing women’s attendance across both men’s and women’s matches, as well as encouraging participation in female-focused football programmes.

As part of this commitment, Wycombe Wanderers’ home fixture against Luton Town on Saturday 14th March - taking place shortly after International Women’s Day - will be dedicated to championing Her Game Too’s values and mission.

All of our volunteers at Her Game Too continue to work tirelessly to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for women and girls in football, celebrating those who play, work in, and support the sport, while striving to eradicate online and in-person abuse at all levels of the game.
