National League South side Weston-Super-Mare has committed to the campaign for the entire season, with our logo appearing on the club’s home and away kits for the 2025/26 season.

This unprecedented move in the sport reflects both the club’s and campaign’s ambition to promote inclusivity for women and girls in football. The club offered this kind gesture after Her Game Too helped introduce the club to The Oakfield Group, who are now the latest big sponsors of the women’s and girls’ teams for the next three years.

Weston-Super-Mare captain, Emlyn Lewis, believes that featuring the Her Game Too logo is a powerful gesture that will help combat sexism and boost participation among females in the local community.

He said: “Having Her Game Too on our kit puts the message out there every single time we play. It shows what the club stands for, and if it gets people talking and challenging old attitudes, then that’s a big step forward.”

He added, “I think it sends a strong message to the community that inclusivity matters to us. Hopefully, it encourages more women and girls to get involved in sport locally, whether that’s playing, coaching, or even just turning up and supporting. The more open and welcoming we make it, the more the community benefits as a whole.”

The campaign’s logo previously appeared on Weston-Super-Mare’s goalkeeper kit during a preseason friendly against Portishead Town, but it will now be a permanent feature on the club’s matchday kit for the entire campaign.

Lewis is more than just a club captain; he acts as a role model for those who feel more needs to be done to address an increasingly important issue, and he takes pride in that responsibility.

He said, “It’s something I’m proud of. As captain, you’re always aware that you set the tone for the club, so to also play a part in supporting such an important campaign is a real privilege.”

Non-league team Lostock Hall Juniors FC has also expressed support for the campaign, featuring the crest on the back their football shirts - an important message showing that progress towards greater inclusivity in the game occurs at all levels of the football pyramid.

Emlyn spoke passionately about the campaign’s core values, saying, “For me, football’s always been about bringing people together.” He added, “I’ve been lucky to have great support in the game, and I believe everyone should feel that same sense of belonging. The campaign’s values align with my own – that football should be for everyone, no matter who you are.”
